The family of Mr. Ronnie Matthews has requested the Patriot Guard Riders render honors to this U.S. Coast Guard Veteran. We will stand a Flag Line at the Memorial Service, participate in the procession, and stand a Flag Line at the Interment Service.

Memorial Service and Procession

Details Of Part 1:

We will establish a flag line at Springtown Church of Christ and stand tall and silent while receiving the family and friends of Mr. Ronnie Matthews. After the service begins, at the direction of the Mission Ride Captain, we will furl and stow the flags. Riders not wishing to participate in the procession will be dismissed at this time and may proceed on their own to the Part 2 staging point. Riders participating in the procession must attend the Rider Safety Briefing given by the Mission Ride Captain. Once briefed, Honor Bikes will be designated and riders will stand by to render honors for the transfer to the coach. Once complete, riders will mount up for the procession to Jaybird Cemetery. An escort service or Law Enforcement detail will lead the procession.

Details Of Part 2:

A flag line will be established at Jaybird Cemetery by an advance team (#2 Mission Ride Captain and/or Support Person). Any riders, who have proceeded to Part 2 staging in advance of the procession, will assist. At the direction of the #2 Mission Ride Captain, those riders will stand tall and silent on the flag line for the arrival of the procession. Upon arrival, riders in the procession will dismount and proceed in an expedient manner to the flag line and take a position. After the service, at the direction of the Mission Ride Captain, we will furl and stow the flags. Riders will then receive a post mission briefing and be dismissed.
